There is a lot to be said about world events in 2008. It will be interesting to compare photos from 2008 to images from 2009. Especially to see whether there has been a general shift in world attitude towards international affairs such as problems in the Middle East, global economy, climate shift, etc.

In the past few years the eco-trend has become a new fad. Although I am all for the environment, I don't believe you should alter your entire life in order to make an impact. A few minor changes here and there should do it. I'm not about to run my computer on canola oil because it's environmentally friendly.

The best solutions are the ones that work for you, and in turn, that work for the environment. Holland's Ecofont is one of these solutions. This font has little holes in each character. Not only does this makes your ink cartridges last longer, but is also helpful for the environment. The best part is that you can't see the holes until you get to about size 20.
